Photographer Tiffany Dillon Keen went out with the Piedmont Fox Hounds at the beginning of this season. Piedmont Fox Hounds, established in 1840, has a mixed pack of American and Crossbred hounds and are based in Upperville, Virginia.

From Tiffany: These photos were from Piedmont and were taken on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the fixture Fiddler’s Green. The rider is huntsman Jordan Hicks. The driveway pulling into the meet is very long and filled with beautiful tall trees. In the early morning hours (the meet was at 7:30am), the sun rises just behind them. This creates a muted warm glow to come through the trees from behind them. This meet is one of my favorites.  It is a beautiful farm. The landowners are fantastic, and there are plenty of fox nearby that always provide good sport. This fox was viewed later in the hunt one field away from the meet. On this particular cubbing morning, the weather was ideal, and the hounds sounded great from start to finish.
