Riders Up! Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 the Rappahannock Hunt will host its Annual Point-to-Point Race in Boston, VA. The races will take place at The Hill, located at 13257 Durantes Curve, Boston, VA 22713 (off Rt. 522). Bring your family, friends, and colleagues!
This year, Rappahannock Hunt has decided to shake things up by offering Hurdle Races, weather permitting. This means that jockeys will gallop their horses full speed at solid jumps for several laps around the course. Up to eight additional races will be run including three pony races. The courageous pony jockeys and their ponies are sure to bring a smile to all attendees. Thoroughbreds from Virginia and neighboring states will run for the blue ribbon and bragging rights in this premier sporting competition. This is the first chance to see the thoroughbreds that will have a chance to qualify for Gold Cup later in the season.
Our races are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The first race will start at 12 p.m., with gates opening at 10 a.m. to allow ample time for parking, tailgate arrangements, and conversation. We encourage everyone to purchase a reserved parking spot for friends and family to enjoy the day! Out of all locations in the Point to Point series, The Hill has the best view of the course no matter what row you are in.
