You’re invited to visit Foxhunting Life at our stand in the vendor area at the Virginia Foxhound Show on Sunday, May 29, for a free chance to win a beautiful set of four hand-painted china plates in a humorous hound puppy motif. These plates will go home with the winner of our drawing through the courtesy of Lizi Ruch—foxhunter, artist, and designer of the popular Artfully Equestrian line of hunt-themed tableware and gifts.
I look forward to seeing old friends at the show, but I especially hope that subscribers and friends of Foxhunting Life—many of whom I haven’t yet met—will stop by to say hello. I’d like to meet you and talk about ideas to make FHL even more valuable and enjoyable to you.
Saturday, May 28, the day before the hound show, I’ll be at the National Sporting Library in Middleburg from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Library is hosting a Book Fair, and I’m honored to have been invited to participate.
Six authors—Rita Mae Brown, Tim Rice, Kate Chenery Tweedy, Bill Woods, and yours truly—are scheduled to give short talks during the day and then sign books. My talk is scheduled for 2:00 pm, after which I will be signing copies of my book, Foxhunting Adventures: Chasing the Story.
Saturday: Book Fair and book signing at the National Sporting Library, Middleburg.
Sunday: Foxhound Show at Morven Park. Be sure to stop by, say hello, and enter the drawing for Lizi’s hound puppy plates!
