Dog and Horse Fine Art gallery in Charleston, South Carolina, is currently hosting an exhibit of new sporting art created for the occasion by leading contemporary artists. The exhibit will be on display until March 16, 2019, and a percentage of sales will benefit the Masters of Foxhounds Foundation.
Beth Carlson, Joseph Sulkowski, and Larry Wheeler will be among the sporting painters featured in the exhibit. Jewelers Paul Eaton and Beth and Burnett de Loiselle will also be exhibiting their sporting miniatures in both jewelry, oil paintings, and sculpture.

Susan Smith Barnett’s custom jewelry designs are rooted in her successful career in the fashion industry. A much photographed Ford Model in New York and Paris, Susan went on to study gold- and silversmithing at New York’s renowned Jewelry Arts Institute, where she worked with the most celebrated masters of the art.

Beth de Loiselle studied Old Masters’ fundamentals at The Schuler School of Fine Arts in Baltimore, where she was a recipient of the Timothy Dill scholarship. She developed her own technique for paintings and miniature art, an art form which dates back to medieval scribes. Presently at the Schuler School Beth teaches animal art, floral oil painting and the art of miniatures. Beth has exhibited paintings in New York, Paris and London. She has received international awards and has international collectors.
Paul Eaton finishes each piece of jewelry and sculpture by hand, ensuring that each is unique. The two most prestigious sets of initials that Paul is honored with are Vice President for Sculpture for The Royal Miniature Society (VPRMS) and Miniature Artist of America (MAA).
Dog & Horse Fine Art gallery, established in 2001 by Jaynie Milligan Spector, is a source for sporting artists, contemporary canvases and traditional paintings. Foxhounds, pointers, retrievers, dachshunds and pugs share prominence throughout the gallery.
Ms. Spector studied with Sotheby’s Auction House in London, England, and worked as an art advisor. She also spent a short period at Christie’s Contemporary Art Department and years at a Soho art gallery in New York City.
