Look no further than Foxhunting Life’s Bookstore for a collection of Beth Carlson’s fox paintings in coffee-table book format. Each full-page painting—many in private collections and reproduced in full color on substantial, coated paper stock—is accompanied by a short essay by the artist explaining its history.

Carlson, known primarily as an animal portraitist, also paints hunting scenes and seductive landscapes. She is a member of Women Artists of the West and Oil Painters of America, and has had her work collected by the Field Trial Museum in Tennessee, the National Bird Dog Museum, and the AKC Museum of the Dog. Her paintings have been featured on magazine covers, and she’s had seven one-woman shows at Dog & Horse Fine Art Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina.
Fox Tales was published by the gallery in 2015, hard bound, color, in landscape format, 11-1/2″ x 8″ trim, 32 pages. Price of book is $39.00 ($35.10 for FHL Subscribers).
