Trainer Neil Morris and jockey Jacob Roberts teamed up at the Loudoun Hunt Point-to-Point to win four of their five races over fences at Oatlands in Leesburg, Virginia, Sunday, April 14, 2013.
After a fifth place showing in the first division of the first race (Maiden Hurdle)—won by Silverado Beach, rider Jeff Murphy, trainer Doug Fout—Morris-trained horses with Roberts in the irons swept the four remaining brush and timber races on the card.

In the second division of the Maiden Hurdle—clocked at nearly eight seconds faster than the first division race—Jacob Roberts on Arrow’s Conquest overtook Labonte in the stretch to win by a nose.
In the Open Hurdle, Roberts on Kinross Farm’s It’s A School Night came off the pace, passed Triton Light in the stretch, and won going away.
The Novice Timber race was also split into two divisions, both of which were won by the Morris/Roberts team. In the first division, Magalen Bryant’s Classic Bridges held off a stretch challenge by Peace Fire to win by a neck. In the second division, Triplekin, another Bryant entry, stayed in touch with pacesetter Regal Hour for about three-and-a-half miles, hooked up with six furlongs to run, and won easily by five lengths.
Irish-bred Jewel of the West ridden by Martin Rohan, trained by Tara Elmore, and owned by Rosbrian Farm narrowly bested Dakota Slew, Robert Walsh up, by a nose in the Open Timber race. The third horse in the field, Tara’s Warrior, was pulled up by jockey Chip Miller.
